i'm currently taking a cinematography class at CCSF. we shot our first 16mm film assignment this weekend - a 25 second shot with a rack focus. i actually had my camera there for a prop, but was hoping to get some shots of us working. there wasn't much time for anything other than setting up each shot and shooting it, but i managed to snap a few at the end of the day (9 hrs later). kids, i was once like you, questioning why in the world i would ever need math in real life, but i'm here to tell you, if you have aspirations that in any way involve a camera of any type, start paying attention in class. especially the day they cover fractions. i'm just sayin'...
